If you feel restored after taking a walk in the woods, then you are in the right place. I hope you enjoy browsing my nature photographs of flowers, forest scenery, animal closeups and scenic landscapes. You will see squirrel photography, bird photography, dragonfly photography and many other kinds of wildlife. The animals are always in candid poses, which can sometimes be humorous.

I am constantly out with my camera, so you will see shots from all 4
seasons: snow scenes, leaves changing color in fall, newly budding flowers in spring and hazy lazy summer days filled with dragonflies on water lilies.

Most of my images have been taken near Chicago, Illinois. I frequent places such as Crabtree Nature Center, Volo Bog, Bluff Spring Fen, Black Partridge Woods, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens. You will also find images of places that I have visited. When I went through rural Pennsylvania, I was awed by the beauty I saw there. I took nature photographs of barn scenes , wildflowers and winding country roads. I also enjoy going out west, especially visiting Lake Tahoe . It is a favorite place for me to ski, and I have many views of the Lake from different angles. I frequently vacation in Wisconsin as it is so close to my home state of Illinois. Nashville was also an interesting place to visit, and I got some wonderful nature shots there as well. Wherever I go, I always find something unique to photograph, and bring back a remembrance of the place.
